Kean H.S. Library Extends Hours for Students and Public

Parents, students and the general public are informed that as a Beacon School Inc. after-school site, extended hours have been established at the school library. It now will be open to the public from 3-7 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, according to a press release from Principal of the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School Sharon McCollum, PH.D.

McCollum said, “As a Beacon School site, tutorial classes are hosted on the campus from 3-4:30 p.m., and a host of other activities, to include computer skills classes, until 7 p.m. Persons enrolled in the Beacon program and residents will be given access to utilize the library. However, only Kean High students will be allowed to loan books from the library.”
The principal added that the school is available as a meeting site for the community as long as interested organizations are non-profit. Members of the general public are advised that while on the premises valid identification must be presented upon request.
