Samuel B. Prime, also known as "Prime," of Hannah’s Rest died on Jan. 9, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Prime; sons: Everon, Hollis, Peter, Peterson, Joel, Don, Samuel Jr. and Kieth Prime; daughters: Ann Marie Vidale, Jennifer Cooper, Alicia and Denea Prime; stepson, Ricky Marks; and stepdaughters: Princess Alexander, Claudia Barnes, Donna Marks and Debra Marks. He is also survived by sons-in-law: John Vidale, Valmore Cooper and Mulu Zachariah; daughters-in-law: Dale Prime and Dianne Prime; brothers: Emanuel Prime and John Fleming; sisters: Hilda Fleming, Sylvia Pope and Shirley Fleming; 25 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, at Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
