SEDI Town Hall Presents Gubernatorial, At-Large Senatorial Candidates

The St. Croix Economic Development Initiative (SEDI) will hold another "Respect My Vote" Town Hall at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, at the 2+2 Restaurant & Lounge. Meet the gubernatorial and senator-at-large candidates: Christensen and Ottley, Coffelt and Canegata, Ronnie Jones, Rocky Liburd).
There are three public offices — governor, delegate to Congress and senator-at-large — that will be critical to St. Croix’s economic recovery and revitalization. These three offices are elected by the entire territory.
The office of the at-large-senator is elected from the St. Thomas-St. John district, and these candidates are Ronnie Jones (D) and former veteran Sen. Rocky Liburd. Find out how well you know these candidates and how crucial their votes will be on legislative policies, laws and issues affecting St. Croix’s future of progress and prosperity.
This is not a candidates’ forum but a voters’ forum where citizens get to ask the pertinent questions on issues – a new and exciting way to empower voters and vet candidates. “Your Voice Is Your Future!” (www.vivote.us)
Also, SEDI will be showing the WTJX Gubernatorial Debate on a jumbo, multiple TV screen at 8 p.m. at 2+2 Restaurant & Lounge.
