NRCS Remains Open During Partial Government Shutdown

Natural Resources Conservation Service

Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands United States Department of Agriculture – Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS) Offices will remain open during the partial government shutdown.

During a government shutdown, agencies that receive mandatory funding or have funds appropriated in prior years that are carried forward can continue to serve customers using that money.

NRCS is in this category and will be open for business. If someone has business with NRCS or wants to begin working with NRCS, its offices are open. Find a local Caribbean Area office by visiting: www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/main/pr/contact/local/.
