Robbery Reported in Estate Southgate

Two men reported Monday morning that they had been robbed at gunpoint in Estate Southgate, the V.I. Police Department reported.

According to the police, at about 11:24 a.m. July 6 two men reported being robbed in the vicinity of the Cheeseburgers in Paradise restaurant.

The victims told officers that a tall, slender Black male approached them with a gun and demanded money. The victims said they complied, because the suspect pointed his firearm at them during the robbery.

The suspect left the area. Neither victim was injured during this incident.

Police urged anyone with information about the incident to call 911, the Crime TipLine at 340-778-4950, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
