Police Investigating Estate Whim Home Invasion

The V.I. Police Department is investigating a robbery in which two armed men raided a home in Estate Whim.

According to police, shortly at 12:02 a.m. Aug. 4, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a home invasion in Estate Whim.

The victim told officers that while entering his residence, an individual pointed a firearm at him, and directed him to open the door to his home. The victim said that he complied with the suspect’s order, and as he entered the residence, a second suspect took his jewelry. Both suspects restrained the victim and removed cash and additional jewelry before departing the residence.

The two suspects were described as slim built, between 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet in height, wearing dark blue jeans. One of the suspects had on a camouflage-print hoodie jacket with a ski mask. The other suspect wore a black hoodie with his face covered.

Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau urged anyone with information on this incident to call 911, the Crime TipLine at 340-778-4950, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
