The Virgin Islands Department of Education (DOE) will hold virtual orientation sessions for public school students during the week of Aug. 31 through Sept. 4. Access to orientations on Zoom and Microsoft Teams will be emailed directly to parents and students.
Laptops, MiFi internet devices, desks and chairs will also be distributed during the week. Parents or students picking up these items will undergo a temperature check, be required to wear a face mask or facial covering, and practice social distancing. Rules will be strictly enforced. Parents are also required to sign for the items, which are the property of the V.I. Department of Education, assuming full responsibility for them in the event the items are lost, damaged or stolen.

Parents and students are urged to tune in to the live, interactive session for important information pertaining to students with special needs.
