Man Treated for Hospital Ground Gunshot Injury

 

A man was inured early Friday when he was shot near his home in Hospital Ground on St. Thomas, according to the V.I. Police report.

Police reported that at roughly 1 a.m. Friday the 911 emergency call center received a call from a Black male, stating that he had been shot in Hospital Ground. Officers traveled to the area and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim’s name was not released in accordance with department policy.

Emergency medical technicians responded to the scene and rendered medical assistance to the man’s injuries. He was transported by ambulance to the Schneider Regional Medical Center for further medical attention.
