Alanzo Walters

Alanzo Walters died on June 29.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eicilma Stevens-Walters; brothers: Dion “Ayatollah” Stevens and Linval “Danny” Isaac; uncle, Michael “Kebo” Browne; and nephew, Valentine Dasent.

He is survived by his father, Ashley “Pink” Walters; grandmother, Yvonne Lewis; children: Julaun Walters, Yajaira Walters and Londyn Davis; sisters: Pamela “Babyloo” West, Jean “Laverne” Claxton, Sherimah Stevens, Vicky Walters and Beverly Howe; brothers: Alexis “Rambo” Hazel, Sean “I-Shondi” Stevens and Daren “Bogle” Stevens; and uncles: Gerarde “PJ” Browne, Vincent Edward, Marlon Dickenson (N.J.), Terence Dickenson (Penn.);

He is also survived by aunts: Sylvanie Harvey, Rona Chapman, Ramona, Joycelyn and Jeanette Walters, Grace James, Vanessa Sutherland (N.J.), Geraldine Chinouyazue, Joyce and Gladys Walters, Joycelyn Matthew-Martin and family, and Mary Matthew and family; uncles: Lovell, Nell, Sam, and Revaldo Walters, and Bandele Chinouyazue; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Grace Baptist Church. Tributes will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and public health regulations, all attendees must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing.
