Office of Lieutenant Governor Reopens Most of Its Divisions at Nisky Center

Office of he Lieutenant Governor, United States Virgin Islands

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. informs the public that the following divisions located on St. Thomas at Nisky Center Suite 1B, ground floor (former Immigration Office, facing Sub Base) will resume operations on Wednesday, May 4:

Division of Real Property Tax

Office of the Tax Assessor, including the Cadastral Unit

Office of the Tax Collector

Recorder of Deeds

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

V.I. Medicare/Virgin Islands State Health Insurance Assistance Program (VISHIP)

Cashiers

The divisions were temporarily closed to implement required COVID-19 protocols. The public is advised, however, of the temporary closure of the Division of Banking, Insurance and Financial Regulation St. Thomas office located at Nisky Center Suite 200, second floor. The closure is due to a confirmed COVID-19 case.

Sanitization and COVID-19 mitigation protocols have been activated. All staff have been notified and persons identified as close contacts will be tested prior to their return to work.

The office will keep the public informed on this matter, including when the Division of Banking, Insurance and Financial Regulation located at Nisky Center Suite 200, will resume operations.
