We celebrate the life of Elder Harriet Clementina (Jarvis) Thomas, who transitioned to Glory on Aug. 1, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Jarvis, and Avira Sackey Bailey-Huggins, brother Cyprian Simmons and spouse Pastor Floyd Thomas, D.D.

She is survived by her daughter: Pastor Alvera Thomas; sister: Catherine Jarvis; brother: John Jarvis; nieces: Juliet Roach- Evans and Johanna Robinson; great-nephews/nieces: Kirk Terrance Jordan Jr., Jayden Jamel Williams, Aubrey Rebecca Evans Korone Robinson, Alyana Robinson, Jilenna Robinson; bonus children through marriage: Tony Harris-Brooks, Wanda Thomas and Brittain Purcelle; sister-in-law: Angela Jarvis; stepfather: Mr. Issac Huggins; other family: The entire Sackey clan, The Williams, Jarvis, Spencer, Ellis and Taylor family; spiritual son/daughters: Sandy Robinson, Jackie Chambers, Theresa Ellis, Armon Harris and Darrell Nixon; special friends: Leatha Jones, Genevee, Val, Wilma, Margaret and Carol Edwards Victor and Patricia Smith; and other family and friends too numerous to mention.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Divine Funeral Chapel #129 Peter’s Rest, Christiansted, St. Croix. Funeral and homegoing service will be held on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at Tabernacle of Praise Harvest Ministries INC., #9 Clifton Hill (across from the Central High School entrance). Viewing will be at 9 a.m. and the service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
