V.I. Energy Office Director Kyle Fleming will host “Inside the Cabinet” at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, during which he will take questions and discuss issues live with residents.
Director Fleming will talk about the recent Solar+ program to help finance residents’ purchases of solar energy and battery storage systems. The discussion will also be about the upcoming Energy Summit and give an update on the Virgin Islands Government’s expansion of the GO Fleet of electric vehicles.
Also this week, V.I. Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte and his leadership team will join “The Press Box,” at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, on the Government House Facebook page – www.facebook.com/GovernmentHouseUSVI – for a discussion about the USVI’s tourism successes and what the territory can expect in the upcoming season and beyond, as well as the much anticipated, first post-pandemic Crucian Christmas Festival.
Boschulte also will have a conversation with special guest Kurt Wiksten, the managing director of Frenchman’s Reef, for an update on the resort’s reconstruction progress.
“Inside the Cabinet” is broadcast on Wednesdays on the Government House Facebook page and during the live feed of this Virtual Town Hall program, residents can ask the host questions through the “Comments” section of the live stream.
