Crime Stoppers: Submit Anonymous Tips and Solve Crimes

Crime Stoppers USVI needs help and tips from the community to find these suspects. All tips are anonymous.

Sept. 16, 2022

VIPD was dispatched to the vicinity of Palm Court Harbor View on St. Thomas in reference to shots being fired. Officers were later advised of a man with a gunshot wound at a residence in that area. Upon arrival at the residence, officers found a motionless man. The man was transported to Roy L. Schneider Hospital by ambulance. The doctor treating him stated that he sustained gunshot wounds to the head. He later succumbed to his injuries.

Next of kin identified the man as 19-year-old Emerson Nicolas. This case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau/Major Crime Unit.

April 8, 2023

VIPD was dispatched to Cruz Bay in the area of the Post Office in reference to a male that was shot. Upon the officers’ arrival, contact was made with a man who stated that he and his coworkers were walking toward the Cruz Bay Dock. The man stated that while walking in the area of the Post Office, an unknown man approached him armed with a firearm demanding his belongings. The man stated that he got into a physical altercation with the unknown man, which resulted in him being shot. The man stated that the unknown man took his belongings and fled the area in an unknown direction.
