The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA), and the Administration for Community Living (ACL) invite the public to join an in-person workshop on June 6 on St. Thomas that will showcase how to prepare essential service providers and other organizations that provide critical support services in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This workshop is for emergency planners of nursing homes, substance abuse services, assisted living facilities, senior community centers, senior housing, adult day services, home meal delivery services, transportation services, charitable organizations and others who provide services to older adults, people with disabilities and others with access and functional needs, veterans and individuals with substance use disorder and/or mental illness.
The Service Provider Preparedness Workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, June 6, at Holy Family Church’s Lower Columban Hall, 394-213 Hidden Valley, Anna’s Retreat, St. Thomas, V.I. 00802
