Our most beloved daughter, sister and mother, Renee Marie Somme, passed peacefully on May 26 in Hammond, Louisiana.
After a lifetime dedicated to her sons: Dory Jr. and O’keffe Jacobs; her grandchildren: K’sha Lee, Kayden, Tai and Kayce Jacobs; and her very grateful nieces and nephew, the Lord, our God, decided that He needed her beside Him.
She leaves her parents: Leota A. Rabsatt Williams-Somme and Victor Somme Jr.; her siblings: Victor III and Troy A. Somme Sr., and Shawn M. Hendrickson Sr.; and her dearest family and friends too numerous to mention to mourn, live and love.
A memorial mass to celebrate Renee’s love and life will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 1, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Christiansted, St. Croix.
