Gwendolyn Donovan-Lawrence died on June 24.

 The viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, July 11, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, July 12, at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral. The interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Gerald Oxford “Good Day” Kitnurse and Esmerelda Rosita “Esme” Jackson; husband, Samuel “Trini/Pan Man” Lawrence; and siblings: Joseph Kitnurse, Marie Louise Daniel, Mervin Kitnurse Sr. and Ione Kitnurse.

 She is survived by her daughters: Arlene Donovan-Collins, Annette “Pebbles” Donovan-Hughes, Tanya Lawrence and Nadine Lawrence-Mulrain; daughter-in-love, Luanne Hodge; sons: Maurice “Lil Mo” Donovan Jr., Christopher “Chris” Donovan, Darin Lawrence and Deon Lawrence; sons-in-law: Donnie “Sabah” Collins, Jeffrey Hughes Sr.  and Sharif Mulrain; grandchildren: Nicole Donovan-Alesi (Beau Alesi), Atibah Fleming (Krista Thomaston-Fleming), Atijah Collins (Donielle Williams-Collins), Asibah Collins (Danielle Shaw-Collins), Jelani Donovan, Molefi Donovan, Jeffrey “BJ” Hughes Jr. and Dionte Lawrence; great-grandchildren: Akai Fleming, Anayah Fleming, Alanah Fleming, Azaiah Collins, Kennedy Alesi, Asa Collins and Kayleigh Lawrence; sister, Patricia Kitnurse-Benjamin; and brothers: Emile (Squibee) Kitnurse, Gilbert Kitnurse and Solomon ”Sala” Kitnurse.

She is also survived by nieces: Michele Daniel, Patrice “Patty” Benjamin, Monica Kitnurse, Leonile Kitnurse-Woolfork, Niasha Ione Kitnurse, Nicole Kitnurse, Laura Ofhoa, Stephanie Richardson, Ansaama Guion, Shirley Edwards, Deleen Adams, Anika Donovan-Huggins, Alba Harrigan and Tiffany Maloon.

She is also survived by nephews: Clarence Daniel Jr. (Joyce Daniel), Craig Daniel Sr. (Carmena Ballard-Murphy-Daniel), Tyrone Gumbs, Troi Benjamin, Alva “Champy” Benjamin, Nyabinghi Kitnurse, Jamil Kitnurse, Mervin “Junie” Kitnurse Jr. (deceased), Michael “Mickey” Kitnurse, Kelvin Charles (Emily Charles), Keith Charles (Liz Charles), Bingley Richardson Jr. (Cher Webster-Richardson), Aswad Ojore (Faye James-Ojore), Sekou Richardson (Ruth Richardson), Delvin “Del” Donovan and Norvel “JR” Donovan Jr.

She is also survived by great-nieces: Chanelle Daniel, Charlene Daniel, Janel Daniel, Michelle Kitnurse, Makelah Kitnurse, Kaya Marie Kitnurse, Kayla Melissa Kitnurse, Alexa Banks and Melana; and great-nephews: GeVoune Petersen (Nefissia “Sunni” Dickson), Cordell Donovan , Craig Daniel Jr., Lee Banks, Louis Banks, Mervin Kitnurse III, Mike Milton Kitnurse Jr., Mike Milton Kitnurse III, Kwame, Marcus Banks II, Lee Banks and Louis Banks:  and great-great-nieces and nephews: Alexia Banks, Marcus Banks II, Javoune Petersen, JahMarley Petersen, Jahkaya Petersen, Jaliya Petersen, Jakhai Petersen, Jlyn Petersen, Haile I Petersen and Madonna Forte-Petersen.

 She is also survived by cousins: Anna Mae Brown-Comment, Corine Brown-Rushfesky, Debbie Brown-Delone, Jackie Brown-Hoyt, Donald DeWindt, Marilyn Thibou, Roy-Keith and Randolph Jackson, Doreen Van Putten, Susan Hewitt, Eleanor Berg, Myron Jackson, Jerome Jackson, Cecelia Knowles, Antonio Petersen, Jean Kerr, Milton-Carlton-Maureen-Marjorie-Americus Jr.-Michael-Merle-Joseph-Anselmo-James-Gerald and Jerry Jackson: Buster Brown (deceased), Jonathan (Jon-T) Brown (deceased).

Other survivors include family clans: the Kitnurses, Jacksons, Abrahams, Browns, DeWindts and Joshuas; godchildren: Donna Sanders, Richard Rhymer, Delores “Pinky” Anderson, Mario Leonard, Neville “Champy” Amey, Allen “Champy” Lans and Keith Rhymer (deceased); extended family: The Domino Crew – Gisele Flanders, Denise Hall, Alicia “Lacie” Hunt, Gail Braithwaite, Dejou “Benji” Benjamin and Mary; special daughters: Debbie Fabian-Abdur Rasheed, Melanie Heron, Joyce “Joycie” Faulkner-Maynard and Cheri Fahie; as well as cousins and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
