DOH Seeks Public Input on Title V Maternal Child Health Grant FY25 Application

The Virgin Islands Health Department is seeking public input on its application for the Title V Block Grant, Maternal Child Health (MCH), and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) for the fiscal year 2025.

The department administers the Title V Block Grant within the MCH and CSHCN Division. The territory’s Title V program is crucial in providing comprehensive, coordinated, and family-centered services, according to the press release.

The MCH Division is a part of the Bureau of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. It includes several other programs such as Early Hearing Detection and Intervention, Maternal, Infant, Early Child Home Visiting, State System Development Initiative, Virgin Islands Child Psychiatry Access Program, and the State Newborn Screening Priorities program, the press release stated.
