It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Margaret Rose Castor on June 13. She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, a nurturing grandmother and a cherished friend whose kindness, warmth and unwavering strength touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lifford; three children: Rozelle Castor-Coram, Theodora Castor and Lunetta Castor; grandchildren: Stanley Coram III, Shanisha Coram and Shanae Coram; sisters: Vera Justin, Flora Archer-Williams and Monica Francis; and sisters-in-law: Rosetta Tonge, Rosette Castor, Juliana Georges, Ellenora Dunstan and Cecille Serville; and brothers-in-law: Jonathan Castor, Cleveland Tonge, Francis Justin and Agustas Williams.
She is also survived by nieces: Merliss Blaize, Curliss Honore-Prince, Furn James, Merlinna Honore, Emilia Dustan, Amanda Dunstan, Renie, Merlin Wilshire, Ana Rose Wilshire, Margaret Rose Wilshire, Joan Willock, Sandra Ann Massac, Frances Castor, Vernel Castor, Nicole Castor, Marie Ingle, Michelle Castor, Crystal St. Louis and Andrea Porter.
She is also survived by nephews: Emile Dunstan, Elford Dunstan, Curtis Frank, Kelbert Frank, Trevor Duncan, Bill Joseph, Don Joseph, Carda Wilshire, Wilford Wilshire, Matthias Castor, Johny Castor, Gairy Castor, Ellerton Castor and Kurt Castor; and grandnieces: Addisa Prince, Addinna Prince, Imani Blaize-Bannis, Ariel Blaize-Bannis, Aaniyah James, Destiny Lewis, Faith Castor-Pierre, Naomi Hill, Jahne Massac, A’nyah Porter, My’Leah Porter, Jasmine Castor, Deanna Castor, Joann Castor and Giselle Castor.
Other survivors include grandnephews: Ken Frank, Ajhani James, Darnel Willock, Jordan Thomas, Wayne Massac, David St. Louis, Joshua St. Louis, Anthony Castor, Johny Castor Jr, Jamal Castor, Joedy Castor, Zachery Castor, Quinton Castor, Devyn Castor, Tanner Ingle, Tyler Ingle and Roy Willock; close friends: Olive, Teacher Joan, Dawn, Lucy, Corrine, Rogerson, Coralie, Louisa, Arah, Julita and the Dodds family of Wesley; as well as many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
A home-going service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on July 12 at Island Baptist located at 105 Carte Route 701, Frederiksted, St. Croix. The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and service at 10 a.m. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in remembering her remarkable spirit.
