Dec. 9, 2002 – This Friday, there will be no performance of "A Tuna Christmas" on St. Thomas, and it's got nothing to do with the date being Friday the 13th.
Pistarckle Theater is going dark for the night so everyone can head to downtown Charlotte Amalie to take in the annual "Miracle on Main Street" holiday festivities presented by the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce Destination Downtown Committee.
All other scheduled "Tuna" performances remain on track — this Thursday and Saturday, and Dec. 19-21. Both Thursdays, for the price of admission, theater-goers get complimentary tastes of the top entries in this fall's Texas Society of the Virgin Islands Chili Cook-Off. And the final night will feature desserts compliments of Frank's Bake Shop.
"Don't miss the funniest Christmas show around! Suitable for all audiences, family entertainment," says promotional material. For reservations, call 775-7877.
