TERRITORY-WIDE INSURANCE FORUMS PLANNED

May 14, 2001 – The Office of the Lieutenant Governor will host forums on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John that will address V.I. insurance issues, services offered by the office, and the need for insurance, particularly with hurricane season approaching.
The first forum will be held Friday, May 18, at the Educational Complex on St. Croix. The second will take place Monday, May 21, at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports & Fitness Center. The third is set for Tuesday, May 22, at the Legislative Conference Room in Cruz Bay. Each is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m.
In a release Monday, Lt. Gov. Gerard Luz James II stated that all residents are invited to attend the sessions. He said he encourages discussions on insurance.
