Aug. 11, 2006 – Caribbean Community Theater presents its second production of the summer, "Bedroom Farce," a comedy written by Alan Ayckbourn. There will be seven performances: on Friday and Saturday evenings, Aug. 18-19, Aug. 25-26, and Sept. 1-2, at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee on Aug. 27, at 4 p.m. All shows are at the Caribbean Community Theatre at No. 18 Estate Orange Grove, Christiansted. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students. Due to adult content, this production is not recommended for children under age 14.
This is a clever and witty play about the blithe inconsideration of the suffering. Trevor and Susannah are a couple whose marriage is heading toward the rocks. The play depicts an endless night in which they inflict their miseries on their nearest and dearest friends, three other couples. It is directed by Charles Braslow and the cast includes: Chester Delacruz, Lorraine Durand, Tucker Durand, Linda Gabarra, Allan LaBerteaux, Christine Thomas, Nick Tyler and Lisa Vaughan.
