Census 2020 to Be Part of Job Fair

The St. Thomas-St. John Office of Census 2020 U.S. Virgin Islands will sponsor a job fair. More than 500 temporary, part-time census takers and crew leaders are needed to ensure that everyone who lives in the U.S.V.I. is counted. Census taker positions pay $16.51 per hour; crew leaders earn $18.76 per hour. Applicants are required to have access to reliable transportation. Anyone over the age of 18 can apply. Men must have registered with the Selective Service. Residents of St. John and Water Island are urged to apply. Applications can be filled out in the mall on Saturday and interviews will take place at that time.
