‘One Billion Rising’ Event

Beginning at noon today, the Family Resource Center (FRC) will join the world in taking a stand against the violence that plagues girls and women. Females and males will come together to participate in “One Billion Rising Worldwide” in solidarity against gender violence against girls and women and the exploitation of females. People are asked to stop by for a few minutes at Emancipation Garden to receive a gift from FRC. View and interact with its 1 BR Display at Emancipation Garden, anytime between noon and 3:30 p.m.
