As of Friday evening the USVI had 266 tested with 40 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 – 26 on St. Thomas, 12 on St. Croix, and two on St. John – along with 184 negative tests, 42 pending. 34 recovered, and no deaths.
Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. told reporters on a telephone press conference Wednesday that there had been no new cases of COVID-19 in the territory since Sunday. “So far, so good,” the governor said.
The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the U.S. Virgin Islands has reached 22 with the announcement Saturday of three new cases, one of them the first recorded on St John, the Department of Health reported.
