POLICE OFFICER ARRESTED

A St. Thomas police officer has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, destruction of property, and violation of a restraining order.
Officer Jerome Blyden Sr. was arrested by the V.I. Police Department's domestic violence unit on Monday, according to acting Chief of Police Jose Garcia.
Bail has been set at $2,000.
