INNER WHEEL GIVES EQUIPMENT TO HOSPITAL

Inner Wheel of St. Thomas has donated an intensive care system to the Roy L. Schneider Hospital's nursery unit and a neonatal/adult vital signs monitor and oxygen analyzer sensor to the pediatrics ward.
Hospital officials said they were overjoyed to received the state-of-the-art equipment, according to a report in the V.I. Indepdenent.
Inner Wheel is made up of the wives and daughters of Rotarians and honorary Rotarians. It has donated more than $200,000 to the community in the last 10 years, the Independent story said.
The latest gifts to the nursery and pediatrics ward were funded from proceeds from the hospital gift shop, which club members own and operate.
