WARRANT ISSUED FOR HYNDMAN MURDER

The V.I. Police Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of Kenrick Maynard, who will be charged with the fatal shooting last week of 48-year-old Adolph Hyndman.
Maynard, a St. Thomas native whose nickname is "Keno," is described as a black male, 6-foot-2, weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen driving a white Lexus, license plate T-40965. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Maynard will be charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and unauthorized use of a firearm.
Hyndman was shot shortly after midnight on July 28, as he walked near the Red Ball grocery in Savan.
His son, Leslie Hyndman, had been shot and wounded while walking in the same area only 48 hours earlier.
