About $15,000 in prizes will be raffled off by the Caribbean Film and Video Association in its annual raffle drawing at the association's 5:30 meeting Wednesday, April 4 at the Frenchtown Deli, according to organizer Deborah Quade..
Quade said, "The prizes are truly amazing, and we have so many tickets left to sell." The tickets were originally give out in exchange for a bag trash at the association's Vessup Beach cleanup earlier this year.
The prizes include three-day two-nite stay at a villa at the Westin Hotel on St. John, Sapphire Beach Resort or Secret Harbor Hotel, a one-day sailboat excursion, a helicopter or Atlantis Submarine ride, a long weekend in St. Croix at the King Christian Hotel with flights by Seaborne Airlines and meals at Alexander's Café, Hook Line and Sinker or the Frenchtown Deli, itself. "And that's not all," Quade says, "there's lots more." In addition, she said, door prizes will be given.
