Dear Source:
Frank Schneiger [in his Op-ed article "The Gathering Clouds"] made seemingly interesting points but, unfortunately, he didn't offer much by way of actual suggestions. While elected officials and government administrators may be ineffective and/or corrupt, I do not believe they are inept and/or stupid.
I would encourage Mr. Schneiger to write again, but to list specific examples of problems and practicable recommendations for addressing them.
