2001 ENTREPRENEURIAL AND INVESTMENT SYMPOSIUM

The "2001 Entrepreneurial and Investment Symposium" will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 24, and from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas Hotel. This event will present professional service providers and business owners with an opportunity to participate in a series of discussions concerning asset diversification and best business practices critical to any successful profit-oriented organization. The symposium presenters will include, among others, native Virgin Islanders who have distinguished themselves in the business arena on the U.S. mainland. We know the sessions will prove informative to anyone with an interest in business and/or the private sector. A tentative agenda for the symposium follows, along with a one-page symposium pre-registration sheet and presenter bios. Early registration is encouraged.
The 2001 Symposium is organized by Virgin Islands Capital Resources, Inc. ("VI Cap") in collaboration with the Virgin Islands Community Foundation. VI Cap provides investment capital to expansion stage or relocating businesses in the Virgin Islands, and seeks to offer investment capital in a more flexible format than is otherwise available through more traditional financing intermediaries. The Virgin Islands Community Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for the people of the Virgin Islands through various programs that make a positive difference in the community, and addresses the needs of the community in a creative, sensitive and timely manner.
Registration space is limited. Therefore, please indicate your interest in attending by reserving space early. Reservations can be made by calling 340-776-0677 by e-mailing Marcia V.
