The Firefighter Entrance Examination date is Saturday, Oct. 12, on St. Thomas. Applications for the exam will be accepted until Friday, Sept. 28. All candidates including Junior Firefighters are expected to submit a high school diploma, proof of citizenship, driver's license and Social Security card along with a completed application by that deadline date.
Interested individuals can pick up applications at the Division of Personnel on the 3rd floor of the GERS Complex on St. Thomas. All qualified applicants will receive an admission card on Friday, Oct. 5. The admission card must be presented along with a phot ID in order to sit the exam.
