CAHS OPENING SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

Aug. 12, 2002 – The opening schedule for the Charlotte Amalie High School has been announced. It is as follows:
ID pictures for ninth graders:
Aug. 15 9 a.m. to 12 noon last names A-E
Aug. 15 1 to 4 p.m. last names F-L
Aug. 16 9 a.m. to 12 noon last names M-R
Aug. 16 1 to 4 p.m. last names S-Z
Orientation for students and parents of ninth graders: A parent or guardian must accompany students and students must be dressed in full school uniform. To receive a copy of their schedule, each student must attend the orientation session with their parent or guardian, present a copy of their updated immunization record and pay a $25 student fee. The fee covers the cost of the student identification card, school accident insurance and an assignment book. Returning ninth graders must also clear any outstanding obligations and should pay only $15 if they already have a valid identification card.
Ninth grade orientation schedule:
Aug. 21 8 a.m. last names A-L
Aug. 22 8 a.m. last names M-Z
Aug. 27 8:10 a.m. Classes begin for 9th grade students.
Tenth, eleventh and twelfth grade students are to report for orientation in accordance with the following schedule. a parent or guardian must accompany the student and the student must be dressed in full school uniform. Students will receive their schedule if they present a copy of their updated immunization record and a valid school identification card and pay the $10 school accident insurance fee. All new students will be required to pay an additional $10 for a school identification picture card.
Orientation schedule for 10th, 11th & 12th grade students:
Aug. 27 8 a.m. orientation for all seniors
Aug. 28 8:10 a.m. classes begin for seniors
Aug. 28 8 a.m. orientation for all juniors
Aug. 29 8 a.m. orientation for sophomores
Aug. 30 8:10 a.m. classes for all students
All parents and students that once classes begin, all students who have not attended an orientation session and received their school schedules are not to be present on the school campus.
