SYMPOSIUM ON DANISH WEST INDIES

UVI's Social Sciences division will sponsor a free public symposium Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to noon on the social, economic and political relations of the former Danish West Indies and the resulting cultural influences.
The lectures will take place in Business Education building room 101 on St. Thomas. Participants include Dr. Aimery Caron, former French consul; Dr. Ole Hagemann, Stefanie Robl and Dr. Thomas Riss of the Christian Albrecht University; Gail Shulterbrandt of the St. Thomas Friends of Denmark; and UVI professor Dr. Malik Sekou.
