ADULT EDUCATION BEGINS SEPTEMBER 2

August 26, 2003 – The Day Adult Education Center for the St. Thomas-St. John Education District, which offers educational courses to Virgin Islanders ages 16 and over who wish to prepare for their General Education Diploma, or who simply wish to further their education, has announced that registration is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, August 25, to Friday, August 29, at the Day Adult Center on Commandant Gade.
Center Director Yahaya Bello has announced in a release that anyone interested in studying at the center must register for classes and attend one of two orientation sessions the center is offering.
The mandatory orientation classes are being offered from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., on Tuesday, September 2.
As class sizes are limited, prospective students should register early. For more information, call the center at 774-6899.
