UVI to Close September 1 for Labor Day Observance
The University of the Virgin Islands will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day. Classes will resume and all university offices will re-open on their regular schedules on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
SBDC Sets "Benefits of Insurance" Seminar Sept. 12 on St. Croix
The UVI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in collaboration with the Ambassador Financial Group Inc., will conduct an insurance seminar entitled "The Benefits of Having Insurance: Business, Life, Health and Disability" from 5:45 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at the SBDC Training Center located in the Sunshine Mall lower level, St. Croix. V.I.'s Remarkable Big Trees Display Continues Through September 12
An exhibition of 30 photographs of remarkable big trees of the U.S. Virgin Islands, organized by UVI Professor Dr. Robert Nicholls, is on display through Sept. 12 at the V.I. Cultural Heritage Institute located at 5-6 Kongens Gade (Education Street) in Charlotte Amalie. For more information call 774-9537.
