News Brief: No Bomb Found After Bomb Scare Call

Jan. 13, 2005 – A bomb scare was called in to Innovative Communication Corp. offices in Tutu Park Thursday morning about 9 a.m., according to Innovative spokesman Tom Dunn who reported the incident to WVWI Radio One.
The Innovative business office was closed for about an hour, an employee said, and opened back up at about 10:05 a.m. An Office Max employee said their store, which is in the same building, had to evacuate. Office Max opened as usual at 10 a.m.
A Fire Department official said Thursday morning that the threat had been investigated, no bomb was found, and employees were told it was safe to return to work.
Dunn didn't return a call for comment.
