My goodness. The engineering department at Vitelco, sure hasn't been doing its job if a little birdie can cause such a terrible outage.
How stupid can the public be if they swallow a bunch of fecal matter that Vitelco is trying to serve?
First: Phone lines are notto be placed where flooding can possibly occur. Paper insulation went out fifty years ago when vinyl insulation came into being. Somebody bought some cheap cable that should have been scrapped for its metal value. Possibly they did pay a scrap price
When was this cable installed and by whom ? The answer might be interesting. Innovative receives about $20 per subscriber to upgrade 'rural' telephone services. Now just where have they spent these funds and why do we have such mediocre telephone service.
Answer to the last question. GREED and avarice.
No reason for Innovative to have tax breaks or an exclusive operating franchise , is there ?
