Dec. 29, 2005 – Pauline Elaine Heard of Whim Gardens died on Thursday, Dec. 15, at her residence. She was 94 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Iris Farrell and Lima Christian; adopted daughters: Flora Samuel and Lavern Sewer; sister-in-law: Esmy Thomas; and son-in-law: Fitzroy Farrell. She is also survived by grandchildren: Hyacinth Regis, Valencia Acoy, Elena Mark, Gloria Augustin, Denise and Jacqueline Jackson, Joyce Encarnacion, Claire Evans-Francis, Irene Evans-O'Reilly, Arleen Evans-O'Reilly, Roslyn Christian-Wheeler, Judith Christian and Sandra Stewart, Willard and Clinton Tutein, Eric Quinton Valdemar, Everett, Anselmo and Darrel Jackson, Warren and Lawrence Christian; 87 great-grandchildren; 52 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-great-grandchildren. Other survivors include special friend Lee Rohn, and other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Friedensfeld Moravian Church at 10 a.m., with viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will take place at Christiansted Cemetery.
