Alert: WAPA Service Interruptions to Begin Monday

May 12, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority is advising its St. Croix water customers that it is embarking on Leak Detection Training and Survey from Monday, May 15 to Friday, May 19. During the training, field assessments will be conducted along the main and service lines in various communities. The training and survey will assist WAPA in reducing water system losses.
During this period, water customers can expect service interruptions. Every effort will be made to complete the work as soon as possible. Motorists are asked to be cautious when traveling within the established work zones.
The Authority appreciates the patience of its customers during this service enhancement effort.
