Two Dead, Two Injured After Shooting in Bar

June 18, 2006 – Police are investigating a shooting at the Banana Split Bar and Grill on Brookman Road that left two men dead and two hospitalized.
According to a release from the V.I. Police Department, at 3:18 a.m. Sunday two gunman entered the bar and opened fire.
Trevor Louis, a resident of Estate Nadir and native of St. Lucia, was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at 4:35 a..m. at Schneider Regional Medical Center. A second man, who had not been identified as of publication time, died at the scene of gunshot wounds.
Lennox B. Weeks, a 36-year-old Nevis native, and Zachaus Williams, 34, of St. Lucia were transported to Schneider for emergency surgery, after being shot multiple times.
Assistant Commissioner James McCall said Sunday afternoon police had not determined the motive for the shooting. He said the investigation was ongoing.
