Marvin Marcus Blake Dies at 22

July 15, 2006 — Marvin Marcus Blake, also known as "Black Boy", formerly of St. Croix, died July 10. He was 22 years old and most recently lived in Durham, N.C.
He is survived by his mother Eroda Samuel; father Eardley Black; step-father Ivran Samuel; step-mother Shirley Blake; grandmother Ramona Blair; sisters AnnMarie, Sheriann, Almarie, Josephina, Temeka, Vanora, Vanill, Heather, Carmen, Julie-Ann and Karen; brothers Kevin, Renford and Jamal Samuel, Zaccheus and Ernel Blake; step-brother Ciaphus Samuel; nieces Jericiann, Jada, Lakylah, Kemora, Elenor, Delasie, Sakevia, Elise Marie, Theresa, Shakera, Alexia-Kiara, Denisia, Shamona, Chyanne, Therina and Denoya; nephews Jamarie, Azani, Dawah, Jaquomie, Deshaun, Azia, Demitri, Carlos, Ozeno, Lionel, Kareem and Gregory; aunts Rosemary, Eugenie, Marvelyn, Cynthia and Rodney Blake; uncles Michael, Alan, Franklyn, Eustace, Cardinal and Juvin Blake; great aunts and uncles Aurora, Agatha, Avril, Bemadette and Verna, Albert and George Francis, Foster and Edward Jarvis; god-parents Eileen Bernard, Glenford Farrell and John Lake, brother-in-law Fabian Claxton; Cousins Stedroy, Caldena, Varen, Sylvester, Sonia, George and Audrey Blake, Shandel, Tecla, Trent, Niko, Shanoy, Nikiesha, Alia, Tito and Shauna Kelly Espre, Danielle, Anique, Suniva, Adonna, Rakeem, Jamsine, Dominique, Christopher, Annesha, Alesha, David, Kaishawn, Jerrell, Shane, Kenroy, Kwesi, and special friends Jahrius and Helen Outen, Agatha Nestor, Maudlyn Adams, Eugene Phipps and Riffio Simon, and other relatives and friends much too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, with a viewing at 10 a.m. at New Testament Church of God. Internment follows at Kingshill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by James Memorial Funeral Home, Inc.
