Sept. 7, 2006 – The UVI Small Business Development Center in collaboration with the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority will present the seminar: "EDC Benefits for Small Businesses." Attend this seminar to learn about Economic Development Commission benefits available for small businesses.
It is scheduled for 6-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the UVI-SBDC Training Facility in St. Thomas. Admission is free; however, pre-registration is required.
You should be aware that there are mechanisms in place to assist small businesses. Be proactive instead of reactive. Don't lose out on a great business opportunity because you do not know about the programs that are designed to assist small business owners. Remember knowledge is power.
