Brief: Florence Causes Cruise Ship to Skip St. Thomas

Sept. 9, 2006 – The Explorer of the Seas will not dock on St. Thomas as scheduled Monday; the cruise ship is sailing south and west to avoid Tropical Storm Florence.
The West Indian Company said the ship will stay at sea Monday and continue its normal itinerary Tuesday on St. Maarten.
All other ships scheduled this week will follow their planned itineraries.
