Sept. 9, 2006 – The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas proudly announces that the S'lichot Program – a discussion and service helping the Jewish community prepare for the High Holy Days – will be at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, Sept.16.
It begins with a service of Havdalah, ending the Sabbath Day, a light supper and a discussion about how each of us, individually, can make ourselves ready for the great spiritual encounter of these Holy Days. It concludes with the service of S'lichot and the changing for the Torah covers to white.
