Sept. 28, 2006 — The V.I. Water and Power Authority is advising its customers on St. Croix Feeder No. 10 that electrical service to a small section of Estate Upper Love will be interrupted on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon in order to change line construction in the area.
Line personnel will be elevating lines in an effort to reduce the frequency of outages due to the rapid growth of trees and other vegetation.
WAPA's in-house tree trimming crews as well as its contractor, Asplundh, continue working throughout the territory to reduce overgrowth in power lines.
