Oct. 13, 2006 The Annual Wine Expo will benefit Montessori School. It is the largest wine expo in the Virgin Islands and will be held from 6-9 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 13, in the Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. This year's event, hosted by Premier Wines and Spirits, is open to the public and features 40 wine producers and over 200 wines for sampling. Hors d'oeuvres will be served. In addition to sampling, attendees may purchase wines by the case. A silent auction for magnum bottles of wines and spirits will also be held.
The proceeds of this year's event will go to benefit the V.I. Montessori School, a private non-profit school offering instruction for toddlers through upper school. It is located at 6936 Vessup Lane, St. Thomas.
Advance tickets are $90 per person and are available at Montessori School, Premier Wines and Spirits, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, St. John Hardware and Dynasty/Dazzlers.
