Thomasville Co-op Members Reminded of Important Meeting

Oct. 19, 2006 All residents of the Thomasville Cooperative Inc. are reminded of an important meeting at 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20, at the Earl B. Ottley Conference Room. The committee on Housing, Sports and Veterans Affairs of the 26th Legislature of the Virgin Islands will convene to take testimony regarding the management and operation of the cooperative. The cooperative is an association created to provide low and moderate-income housing.
The committee meeting was requested by Sen. Celestino A. White Sr., on behalf of the residents of Thomasville Cooperative, to address a variety of issues, including: poor management and the failure of management to file the last 12 annual reports and financial statements, according to Devon Grant in a press release from the Thomasville Cooperative Inc.
