VIWMA Reopens Scrap Metal Area at Anguilla

Oct. 26, 2006 The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority informs the St. Croix public, tow operators and waste haulers that it is reopening the scrap metal area at the Anguilla Landfill. Scrap metal will be accepted at the landfill from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday through Friday, effective Friday, Oct. 27. This includes detoxed vehicles, white goods (such as refrigerators and stoves) and other scrap metals.
