James Adolphus Turnbull Dies at 81

Oct. 31, 2006 James Adolphus Turnbull, better known as "Epolite," died on Oct. 26, at Peebles Hospital. He was 81 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Turnbull; sons: Alvin Fahie, Raphael and Elroy Turnbull; and daughters: Sharon Matos and Lynette Carter. He is also survived by stepchildren: Steve, Sonia, Suzette, Sherry and Selvin Turnbull; sister, Helen Patrick; and brother, Harris Turnbull. Other survivors include grandchildren: Ramon and Elisha Turnbull, and Joe-Lenna, Kyundra, Kanisha and Kayla Fahie; great-grandchild, Janiayah Tucker; and many other relatives and friends on Tortola and St. Thomas too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Wesley Methodist Church. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
