Nov. 8, 2006 Victor Davis, better known as "Papi," died on Nov. 7, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 91 years old.
He is survived by daughters: Luz Davis-Ovesen and Elsie Monsanto; step sons: Ishmael and Ilmo Rivera Lugo; and special nieces: Andrea Davis, Maria Rivera, and Lydia and Matilda Rodriquez. Other survivors include 21 grandchildren, special grandchild Yolanda Davis, 30 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing willl be held from 5-7 p.m., on Monday. Nov. 13, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing from 8:30-9:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 1.
